Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedic setting in California with an active state license and at least 6 months of relevant experience.

Details

• Work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic environment
• Patient population includes primarily adult orthopedic cases with some pediatric patients
• Five 8-hour day shifts per week from 8:00 to 16:30
• Occasional weekend coverage may be required
• May be required to float to other locations if census is low

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California required if applicable
• Minimum of 6 months recent experience in outpatient orthopedics required
• 12 or more months of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
• New graduates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Additional Information

• Care for a diverse patient population with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation
• May occasionally treat pediatric patients
• Candidates may be required to provide two professional references from supervisors within the past two years
