American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a day-shift home health position serving a rural territory, requiring a PT license and CPR certification.

Details

• Home health setting in a rural territory covering Cleveland, Gaston, and Rutherford counties
• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call, weekend, or routine holiday requirements
• Average caseload of 6 geriatric patients per day for visits, evaluations, admissions, and discharges
• Team includes 2 PTs, 1 PTA, and 1 PT in orientation
• Electronic medical records managed with HCHB

Requirements

• Active PT license required if applicable
• Current CPR certification required
• Valid car insurance required
• Minimum 12 months recent core work experience in home health or unit specialty, with experience within the last year
• Ability to provide one professional reference from a supervisor, manager, director, or charge RN dated within the last year

Additional Information

• Five days of orientation provided
• Responsibilities include patient visits, evaluations, admissions, and discharges for mainly geriatric patients
• Light gray scrubs required as dress code
• No floating outside the designated branch coverage area
• No weekend, on-call, or regular holiday work required
