Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of pediatric outpatient experience for a pediatric rehab contract using Epic EMR.

Details

• Work in an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting
• Serve pediatric patients with developmental conditions, CP, autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, and other diagnoses
• Average of 9 pediatric patients treated daily
• Shifts are Tuesday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm with a 30-minute lunch
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• No floating to inpatient units required
• Epic EMR is used for documentation

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license required, if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT experience in an outpatient setting (fieldwork does not count)
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
