Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a hospice home health position requiring at least one year of recent PT experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a home health setting specializing in hospice care for geriatric patients
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day, with further details confirmed during interview
• Schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• On-call required every 6th weekend
• Territory may extend up to a 60-mile radius from the main office
• Use of HCHB EMR required
• iPad provided for documentation and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Active PT license in hand required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health or hospice PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with HCHB EMR is required
• Must be flexible with territory assignments
• Locals are not accepted

Additional Information

• Timely documentation and effective communication are essential responsibilities
• Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted
• Travelers are expected to cover all cases within assigned territory as needed
