Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent experience and an active SC or Compact PT license for a hospital-based rehab unit.

Details

• Position is in a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit with 28 staffed beds
• Work schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm
• One weekend shift per month is required
• Floating to other units or facilities is not required
• Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation
• No on-call required
• Free parking is available on site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• Active South Carolina or Multistate Compact PT license at start of contract (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must provide SSN and driver's license for consideration
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Candidates must live at least 60 miles away from the facility; local applicants are not accepted
• Returning employees must have a minimum one-year separation from this health system

• Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in an inpatient rehab hospital setting
• Scrub color requirement is pewter
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start
• Holiday coverage may be required as per facility needs
• All time-off requests must be submitted in advance and approval is based on facility requirements
