Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient role requiring at least 2 years of acute care experience and a valid KY or compact license.

Details

• Inpatient acute care setting in the Physical Therapy department
• Shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a flexible schedule allowing for 8 or 9 hour days
• Work schedule alternates weekly between 36 and 48 hours
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting
• Active Kentucky or compact state PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• No local candidates will be accepted due to a 100-mile radius rule
• Assignment confirmations must be completed within 24 hours of accepting an offer
• Travel pairs are not allowed unless specifically approved by the unit
• Two professional references are required for consideration
