Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with pediatric experience, BLS certification, and Epic EMR proficiency for an acute outpatient rehabilitation assignment.

Details

• Work in an acute outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting
• Serve outpatient pediatric patients with diagnoses including sensory processing disorder, autism, fine motor delay, and developmental delay
• Patient caseload averages 6 to 9 per day
• Shifts are 8 hours per day, starting at 8am, with a days schedule and no weekend or holiday requirements
• Utilizes Epic EMR for documentation
• No requirement to cover inpatient, skilled, or non-pediatric populations

Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathology license in Illinois or confirmation application process has been initiated (license required if applicable)
• At least 1 year of pediatric experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Ability to work in an acute outpatient pediatric setting

Additional Information

• Treats a variety of pediatric developmental and neurological conditions in an outpatient environment
• Department orientation provided over 1–2 weeks with a preceptor and Epic training included
• Business casual dress code; scrubs (black, gray, khaki) are also allowed
• No COVID vaccine required for this assignment
• Local candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles are accepted but subject to a different pay rate
• Candidate must be able to provide a negative drug screen for all panels
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call coverage required
