Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with 2 years of experience and current NBRC and BLS certifications for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a respiratory/neuro diagnostics department
• Responsible for patient care on an RRT unit
• Night shift schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• 8 or 12 week contract options available
• May be required to float to multiple locations on the West Side

Requirements

• Current CRT or RRT credential accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required
• NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification required and must be active
• BLS certification required and must be active
• Ohio respiratory license required and must be in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from within the last 12 months are required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required within 12 months prior to start
• Must be nicotine free

Additional Information

• May be required to perform duties across various CC facilities within the West Side region
• All previous relevant work history must be disclosed for consideration
• Mandatory online training modules must be completed prior to the start date
• Background check and BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Permanent and per diem candidates must observe a 1-year waiting period before returning to these hospital locations
