Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with at least 2 years of experience and an active Ohio license for a night shift contract position.

Details

• Work in a respiratory therapy unit serving respiratory and neuro diagnostics patients
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 18:30 to 07:00
• Assignment length options of 8 or 12 weeks
• May float to other West Side facilities as needed
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Current Ohio respiratory license required if applicable
• RRT or CRT credential accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• NBRC and BLS certifications required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignment
• One reference from a recent supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty is required
• Must be nicotine-free and able to pass a negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start
• No open cases or license hits accepted

Additional Information

• Duties include providing respiratory and neuro diagnostic care as assigned
• Online training modules must be completed prior to start
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to facility for 1 year from previous end date
• All time off requests must be discussed during interview
