Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience for a day shift position at an acute care hospital; Epic EMR experience is required.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No call required
• Holidays may be scheduled as needed
• Weekend coverage expected 3 shifts per quarter with flexible weekday schedule
• Patient assignments may include caring for COVID patients
• Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Current PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Certification from AHA or ARC required
• Ability to pass a clinical screening and manager interview
• Tobacco and fragrance free workplace compliance

• Responsibilities include providing physical therapy to acute care patients, which may include those with COVID-19
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Pre-assignment online modules, approximately 5-6 hours, must be completed before start
• Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed during contract
• Pairs accepted, but matched schedules are not guaranteed
• Candidates living within a 50-mile radius are considered local
