Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC, BLS, and NJ state licensure for a night shift role with floating responsibilities.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Patients may require various forms of respiratory therapy
• Must float as needed to the Ridgewood Observation Unit, an offsite location

Requirements

• NBRC certification required
• BLS certification required
• Current NJ state license required (may submit pending, but active license preferred; license required if applicable)
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required
• One supervisory or manager reference from within the past year required
• Must pass EKG or medication test before start if specialty-specific

Additional Information

• Administer all forms of respiratory therapy and participate in consultations about therapy
• Maintain equipment, enforce safety standards, and keep departmental records
• No holiday time off will be approved during the contract
• Modules will be completed before start during orientation and annually thereafter
• Traveler must begin lab work within two business days of acceptance
• Prior permanent employees are not eligible for travel assignments
• Local candidates are permitted within a 75-mile radius at a lower rate
