Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with at least 2 years of permanent specialty experience and active BLS and NBRC certifications for a night shift contract.

Details

• Work in a respiratory or neuro diagnostics unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30), with weekend and floating coverage as needed
• Assignment length options of 8 or 12 weeks
• Care for acute patients requiring advanced respiratory support

Requirements

• Valid NBRC certification and BLS required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of permanent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in the specialty required
• Ohio RRT license required in hand if applicable
• One supervisor, manager, ANM, or director reference from the last 12 months in the specialty required
• Must be nicotine free and able to pass a negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start
• No license hits or open background cases accepted
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Additional Information

• May float to other associated facilities as needed during the contract
• Online training modules are required prior to orientation and typically take 4-5 hours to complete
• Permanent or per diem staff cannot return to the hospital system for 1 year from previous end date
• All RTO (requested time off) and schedule requests must be discussed during interview and finalized before assignment begins
• Work history including previous positions at this hospital system must be provided
