American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient-focused assignment requiring prior travel experience and a Virginia license.

Details

• Primarily outpatient setting with some coverage in the acute care unit
• Monthly weekend coverage required in the acute setting
• Full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license in Virginia required if applicable
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum previous travel healthcare experience required
• Outpatient physical therapy experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work weekend shifts as needed

Additional Information

• Duties include providing therapy in both outpatient and acute care settings, with the majority of time spent in outpatient care
• Travelers must work at least one holiday during a 13-week assignment, with two holidays required if assignment overlaps Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s holidays
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Previous employees must have a separation of at least one year before returning as travelers
• Training modules are required and completed during orientation, with time allotted for completion
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided upon assignment
