American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with a current California PTA license and 2 years of recent home health experience for a day shift home health contract.

Details

• Work in a home health setting covering San Jose, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale areas
• Day shift schedule is 5 days a week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Electronic medical record system used is HCHB; Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active California PTA license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent home health PTA experience
• Experience with HCHB charting required; Epic experience preferred
• Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Copy of certifications must be in hand at the time of consideration
• AHA certifications required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for assisting in physical therapy treatment and performing procedures per state regulations
• May assist in developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and modifying treatments within the plan established by the supervising PT
• May serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students
• Adheres to privacy and safety protocols in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Returning staff must have been gone for at least one year to be considered
• Only one holiday off will be approved during the contract
• Modules required during orientation; completion time varies by specialty
• 50-mile travel radius required for eligibility for travel rate; locals accepted at a local rate
