Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an acute inpatient rehab travel assignment requiring AZ licensure and BLS certification.

Details

• Position is in an acute inpatient rehab setting
• Work schedule is five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Requires working two weekend shifts per month
• Uses Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Current AZ PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Recent acute inpatient rehab experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Driver's license required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Must not have certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• No local travelers within a 50-mile radius will be considered

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing care plans, and implementing treatment techniques to restore mobility and function
• May be required to teach patients ways to prevent or manage their conditions
• Scrub color is not specified; any color is acceptable
• Requests for time off must be less than one week
• First-time travelers will not be considered if they have recent CHS facility employment history
