Job Details
- Work in an inpatient rehab setting within a hospital environment
- Scheduled for 20 hours per week: Monday and Tuesday 08:00-15:30 (7 hours each), Wednesday 08:00-14:30 (6 hours)
- Includes 4 hours every third Saturday, subject to change
- 30-minute lunch break required
- Day shifts, with shift times including 8:00-18:30 as assigned
- Required to float within the hospital as needed
Job Requirements
- Current Wisconsin PT license required (pending license accepted, license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient or relevant PT experience
- Current BLS certification required; AHA certifications must be completed prior to start
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Submission of DOB, SSN, resume, transcript or diploma, education verification, and minimum of 3 references (2 peers and 1 department chair with name and email) within 1 week of signing
- Lab and documentation appointments must be completed within 48 hours of signing
- Required to provide two professional references, with at least one from a supervisor
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive inpatient physical therapy care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehab team, and participating in patient plan-of-care development
- Must participate in any natural disaster or emergency response activity as required by the facility
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- All training modules are completed during orientation, with up to 8 hours billable to orientation
- Cannot live within a 60-mile radius of the facility; local travelers not accepted
- May only work as a traveler for up to 52 weeks before requiring a one-year break in service
- Holiday time off is restricted to one holiday if multiple occur during assignment
- COVID vaccination is not required
